Interesting post! I was under the impression that I can bar anyone for any reason, at the time I had 3. Sounds as if, Joe Miller didn't have to honor that request, but it is easier to keep the peace.

Rod pushes the envelope, when asked to leave he made his way back to within 4 feet of our table and was looking over at the board position. If someone bars me, I just leave. No biggie. It is not unprecedented for any player to bar a spectator he has an upcoming money round match with. I didn't feel any need to scout Rod's matches, and I didn't want him scouting mine.

I would have asked Joe to consult with Bill Davis and Howard Markowitz if he refused to bar Rod. He seemed reluctant, and I was disappointed in his reaction at the time. I don't think I will be going back to Ohio again, is that a good result for him?
