My Thoughts on this Rule

I was only commenting on the rules as I know them. I haven't seen some of them in action not being around for too long and not causing much commotion when I play. What I think is interesting is that I make it my business to know these rules even though they'll likely never come into play for me but you, a veteran of however many years, Rod, a newcomer to the game, and presumably Joe, the TD in Cleveland, weren't aware of the exact rule. I think for the 3 ppl just mentioned it'd make sense to know the rules forwards & backwards. Along the same lines are ppl not knowing what constitutes a legal roll when one die falls out of the cup before the other or that they should be moving the checkers with one hand etc...
On cocksuckers, we know I can't pass up a chance to talk about cocksuckers. I have no problem with people who know how to drive speeding ... the problem is identifying those who know how to drive. In my ideal world when you went to get your license you would be given a stringent exam including many aspects of driving. Based on your results you'd have certain rights on the road (identifiable by some bar code on your license plate that any law enforcement would be able to identify automatically by the scanner in their car). All impossible of course but I've felt perfectly safe with one of my friends doing 80 in a 65 whereas I'm on the edge of my seat with another friend who drives 65 in the same 65. It's not the speed so much anymore with how cars have developed, it's the idiot behind the wheel.
Driving on a suspended license? Yes, cocksucker. Driving while under the influence is usually a bad thing but all cases once again are not the same. I won't start on what I think of the BAC legal limit. I would never be ok with driving on highways or long distances while drunk but living where I do every weekend I see thousands of ppl drive what amounts to less than a mile under 25 mph to get home and it's not a problem.
I personally am 100% fine with someone not wearing their seatbelt. This doesn't endanger anyone but the person in question. I've always been ok with someone committing suicide though as long as they do it in a responsible manner that won't physically harm anyone else. I don't like being told what to do or not do when the only person it affects is me.
