Also, for some people, a fixed wager - even if variance based on error rate doesnt have the same level of appeal as flipping cubes, with its 2^n stake raising.

Although, I do agree with all the comments, it will alert the fish as to their inferiority in general, it is a new way of gambling at backgammon, it does provide an alternative set of options.

It is also geared towards players like UBK, as he is well known for playing some awesome low ER BG. And the answer to your incoming questions all-you-better-than-me-players, is no, I dont want to. It seems like a losing proposition :)
