Play less backgammon overall so you don't become jaded. I have to use discipline NOT to play so much at Grid Gammon... because you just start doing what you want to do and groove bad habits. Or chat and play, or lose concentration as you did here.

You have taken the first step toward ultimate improvement... By identifying a weakness. Any strategy you implement to fight it will improve your game. Good luck!
