Yes, in this case it is also part of the story: I played a lot of DMP matches in the last weeks, so I was still in the habit to play safe and clear from the rear, instead of looking for a way to gammon him.

Funny though: his next shake was 33, and he escaped the gammon. With my correct play and his subsequent rolls the match would have been over.

Later, we entered the PC DMP game, and somehow my DMP experience worked for me: I played that game better than my opponent AND had the necessary luck to bring it home.
