ERs at recent Monte Carlo World Championships

In Response To: ERs at recent Monte Carlo World Championships (Coolrey)

Just looked over my last 13 recorded matches, most of which were against WC players -- Trabolt, Tardieu, Magriel, Sax, Senk, Malcolm, MCG, Stuart Thomsen, Falafel twice. My average Sn ER in these was 3.68 and theirs was 4.23. My highest ER was last week vs. Rory in LV (8.4) and my oppt's highest was this same match at 7.9. This group of opponents is clearly well above the average open player so the avg open player probably plays in the 6-7 range.

I also agree that the sky's the limit for talented and hard working young players like Stick and MCG. They're already WC and it's scary to think how good they can become in the future. But I don't think either of them will win any senior's events anytime soon.
