If a player could remember an entire match after it was played, there would be no way to prevent that player from documenting the match in a transcript later that day.

I used to record my blitz chess sessions this way. At first I was going to attempt to do it with BG but it turned out to be way too much work over a tournament weekend. I was kind of interested in other stuff like chous, but not enough to record it.

Nack objected to recording our match (stating he doesn't like cameras), and I agreed not to, mostly because I like Nack. Although I don't think he should have the right to refuse a recording.

Of course I send my opponents a copy of the match and expect them to do the same. Don't think I would want to look at all their other matches; I have enough of my own to worry about.
