My own opinion on this is as follows.

1) I do honestly still think that a player has the right to not allow "others" ie non players to record the match.

2) However, a player does NOT have the right to prevent his opponent from having the match recorded either by camera or manual transcription if his opponent so wishes.

However, as each day passes I move closer and closer to the feeling that all matches played should be public domain..ie my support of viewpoint #1 is weakening.
