My $0.02.
I much prefer it if TD's would rule in favor of recording. I think an insistence upon receiving a copy of the match is totally reasonable. I've just started recording matches, and I've complied with all such requests (I owe some of you some -- I'll get there.)
I believe (maybe some of you chess guys can confirm) that the record of moves in a chess tournament is property of the tournament and not the player. I think BG tournaments should insist that any match can be recorded, either by the participants or by the tournament, and furthermore, the tournament has the right to use the record in any way they see fit.
There's no need to make tournament fliers include every detail like this. Just include a note to say, "see our website for additional details", where you can throw down any such things like this.
