Yes, I post positions from matches here -- and, as I said, I never post a name when it could be embarrassing to a player. I do put names on interesting plays, commendable plays, etc.; especially when I know the player and they post also -- Stick, Richard, Ray F., MCG, Neil, UBK, etc.
Yes, I might have crossed the line a touch on the 'triple double' comments. If anyone was offended, I apologize. But, again, the player was not identified and was not personally attacked, embarrassed, or humiliated. One doesn't have to record matches to do that.
Many post positions here for discussions -- from memory, from still photos, from position cards, and, yes, even from videorecordings. Should we ban all of these and erase match memories afterwards? I think the forum is a great teaching and learning venue for all. Further, it is interesting and fun.
How do we all learn and enjoy and grow in our great game if we can't discuss it, read about it, study play, etc.?
