I'll Kick it Off -- Recording Controversy in Atlanta

As I stated in one of these posts, apparently the long-standing ill-feeling of Ray G. (in the future I'll always use Ray G. and Ray F. to distinguish players) toward Malcolm (and maybe it is mutual, I don't know) involved whether or not Malcolm sent Ray G. a copy of the match file of a match they'd played.
Apparently, several months later when they next saw each other Ray G. said to Malcolm "you never sent me that match". Malcolm responded "Ray G., I wish you would say you never received the match." Obviously, it went downhill from there, though I understand Malcolm did get the match to him.
Anyway, I wonder if I now know the source of that problem. I got Ray G.'s e-mail address after our match so I could send him the file when I complete it. He reciprocated in asking for my e-mail address. He explained he has his e-mail set up so that he only receives e-mail from identified parties (so, he had to have my e-mail address to add to his acceptable list) -- the rest goes to spam. Perhaps that is what happened to the original transmission of the match from Malcolm that possibly precipitated all of this mess.
So as not to be charged with talking behind someone's back, I forwarded my forum postings to Ray G.'s e-mail last night. Had he not yet returned home, or not yet entered my e-mail address as acceptable, he might not have received my e-mail either.
Perhaps when I send the match file I'll ask that he confirms by reply that he received it.
