Hand 1 -- opp is representing a strong hand (over your strong hand), one that can beat you. You're not getting good odds. The real question for me is: why such a large bet? Does this represent weakness? Does the nonchalant raise tell something? Without knowledge of this player I would fold.

Hand 2 -- I'm concerned with opp holding KQ but I don't think that's reason enough to throw in the hand. I'll call and see what happens on the turn.
