Making the 3-point is best. The next four are tightly grouped. 5/4 appears to be the worst ace.

I think the reason 3(2) is right is because double blotting makes it hard for us to hit a flyshot on the 11-point, and at least GNU-bg likes leaving a shot there if we leave two blots in our board. (Whether Stick would have found it, well,...)
