You mean instead of the current double reward:

A) opponent of illegal mover has to burn his clock to decide if he wants the illegal move corrected or not (irrelevant if decision is made in the free time window, though -- ditto if "legal moves only");

B) illegal mover, if required to replay, gets a fresh (free time per move) clock.

Don't some European rules have a clock time penalty for illegal moves? Still, doesn't the director need to be called to make the clock adjustment (penalty)?
