Actually Bob this is a VERY FAIR comment. Thanks. And you are correct - sort of. The problem with what I see (just my opinion) is that the ABT is NOT a governing body like I would expect. The ABT is a very loose organization with little power.

For me I started to recognize how things were during the Elayne/Ray fiasco. I kept my distance and didn't comment. But had the ABT been a governing body I don't believe things would have unfolded the same way.

For me (in the ideal world), cheating, theft, and blackballing at any ABT event needs to be dealt with at the ABT level. I don't believe that TD's under the "ABT" banner should have all the power they have now. And I can imagine that there are TDs who don't want to give up that power unless the ABT gives them something in return.

And I do say that as an outsider. I realize I do not understand the politics of the ABT, and why things are currently done the way they are. I am naive in that regard. But overall I think the ABT does need to change.
