Alan --

It is also my understanding that the guy in possession of the board was present at a late night chouette after which the board was missing. Too coincidental. He may well be stupid enough to take the board where it could be recognized but I doubt he is stupid enough to admit to guilt -- what do you expect him to say? I think he should have been barred from the tournament.

I was told there is hesitancy in Chicago to come down too hard on the guy because he may blow the whistle on all of the money play action and cause all of the players grief and consternation. If so, all I can say is that it is sad when people put themselves into positions where they can, effectively, be blackmailed. As the old saying goes: "if you sleep with dogs, you get fleas".
