I too am concerned about low attendance, and it prompted me to write an article on that subject which will be published shortly in Gammon Village. We need to make some changes in the ABT to make tournaments more fun, affordable, interesting, and rewarding to attend, and since the tournament directors have failed to make these adjustments that I, and many others have been recommending for years, my hope is to get enough people in the ABT to get on the bandwagon and start insisting on these changes.

Many people have voiced support for most of my ideas and have spoken up (Perry, Harvey Gilles, Neil, David Rockwell to name a few), but if a lot more of you will join us in demanding the kind of changes that will bring greater participation (which will lead to bigger prize pools and eventually, attract sponsors which is the real key to making these tournaments bigger and better), maybe we can collectively influence tournament directors.
