This is, afterall, YOUR list. Hopefully you won't let us influence your ballot

That's part of the point, to allow you to influence my list. As I said, I'm trying not to overlook anyone and get a better idea of at least how the players I don't know much about are perceived. I've went to a decent amount of tournaments over the last couple of years and I don't know how some people play still, I'm wondering how anyone else can make an educated vote. The best example so far is Bob Wachtel whose game I don't know in the least seems to have a large amount of support of other world class players.

There are several names I'd add to your 'notables' list but I'm not going to detail because I'd surely leave out a name or two and then feelings would get hurt. I don't see the risk/reward in that.

The notables list was an inclusion of players I either didn't know or didn't think their games were up to the top ~15-20 players I'd already listed but other people might and I would have liked to hear discussion on it. If they aren't going to fall into the top ~15-20 then I honestly don't care if they're mentioned or not, I'm trying to grasp the best American players, not create an overall comprehensive list of all decent American players.
