I don't disagree; I think it constructive to discuss the various criteria that might be used in one's determination for whom to vote.

I think it wrong to try to influence the specific weight to be given to various criteria or, even moreso, to try to influence the specific names, or rankings, one might include on their ballot. Those are personal decisions made based on any number of criteria and with greater or lesser importance assigned to specific criteria by the judgement of the voter.

Perhaps if a voter feels he/she is not knowledgeable enough to vote they should abstain from voting rather than accept the recommendations of others who may well have their own individual opinions, biases, agenda, or conflicts of interests.
