I'd very much like to attend, and I have experience doing local ratings of both weekly and regional tournaments. As for the 9:30am suggestion, that makes a lot of sense and I will definitely be available.

Carol Joy's suggestion of the Hotel restaurant's private room is also a very good idea --then the only noise will be coming from us. and It can accommodate at least 20 people. I love Benihana's but it will be very noisy and even if we have two facing tables, the difficulty of trying to hear, whoever has the floor, is very prone to un-workable. But again, I'd be available for that as well.

And NO thanks, Chuck, I am not up for "moderating" this one. Perhaps its your turn or another well respected player or director. I know that a voice that carries well would be a plus, but I am direly in need of de-stressing from my mom's passing, estate sale, her heavy residual financial isssues and my just completed LAOpen.

But please do include me in the list "Stick". As always, I have something to say about most backgammon subjects and this one is no exception.
