Neil replies that he thought that shaking the dice when it wasn't your turn was against the rules? I sometimes get too excited and shake too soon, especially if we are quickly playing a bearoff, but when my opp asks me to stop I appologize and do so. This may become moot for me next year as I plan to take a break from BG and don't expect to play too many non clocked events.
Jason, once your opponent is doing things that seem unsportsmanlike and that are upsetting you, ask him to stop. If he doesn't stop, call over the director and staff. If he does stop but starts up again, remind him that you've asked him to stop.
Note to all...you don't have to put up with players' BS... call over the director when something is not right.
