Bad Behavior in Michigan

I haven't played in a live tournament (I have played OTB for fun) but as a newbie I probably would have sat back and blindly accepted the abuse (I agree, one shouldn't tolerate it and call a TD). My feelings would probably be "Maybe this is how they play in the open, and I shouldn't call the TD because it may appear I am the one with a problem and the one looking to make waves". I guess a part of me thinks that calling a TD about unsportsmanlike conduct is in itself confrontational and may be seen by some as anal as well.

After reading the comments here I wouldn't feel so bad now in calling a TD if I had encountered this in the Open Division. I always seem to learn something on this forum :)
