Agree. The weight of the cups also matter in how fast you can shake. The extreme cases are the heavy leather ones (which almost no one uses at Ty's, thank goodness). But even some of the wooden ones are noticeably heavy. For exmaple I played on Maurice Barie's Taki board (not clocked, though) and I noticed how heavy his wooden cups were. (I'm pretty sure these cups were made out of a wood that is denser than water -- Larry Strommen used to make some of these.) I recall that your (Neil's) cups are quite light and easy to shake. Quite a difference, IMO.
