Your obligation to the Calcutta buyers can be interpreted as having an obligation to play with integrity and never acting on any conflict of interest. You should always play to win and should never act upon any self-interest that might exist not to win. While the rules may even state that matches or games cannot be settled or otherwise dumped, good sportsmanship should make such rules unnecessary. Needless to say, the best way to avoid these situations is to avoid entering any deal that creates such conflicts of interest.
