Having done some research into hosting a tournament and the costs associated with that, 100% return is highly unlikely unless sponsorship can be obtained. I believe that TDs need some sort of rake from the main tournament just to help meet expenses. Otherwise you would see unrealistically high "registration fees" which are just another way of the TD getting a rake. Until the US repeals its ridiculous ban on internet gaming sponsorship from sites like GamesGrid, TrueMoneyGames, PartyGammon will be an extremely hard sell for US Tournaments. I would like to keep a 100% return on sidepool tho.
