The GP of trying to get White to crunch seems like quite a parlay -- enters and then can't jump the 5-prime. (Making the 6-prime and getting to keep it seems like a real longshot.)
QF play appears to be pre-clearing the 6-point. 7-point is often a problem when opp has your 2-point (and isn't on the bar). Trying to clear the 7-point with an empty 6-point looks tough.
I don't believe in QF as it doesn't work very well in real play.
OtB I play 12/7, 10/8 hoping to cover the acepoint next time 25/36 * 28/36.
