I really am very surprise that this has happened. These guys have enormous experience and have run countless tournaments without a problem like this. Obviously mistakes can occur, and there can be circumstances beyond their control to have caused the delays. But I would expect that an explanation to the playing public would have been given or at least a humble apology. Did any of this happen?

Anyway, in an event of sufficient size, with humans running the show, it is likely that something, somewhere will go wrong. Some people will always complain about the problems, but never applaud all of the things that were done well. Like when someone asks "how was my driving", often the best praise is the response "I didn't notice". I think we should all reserve judgment until the event is complete and the dust settles and see what the overall experience was for the players that attended.
