In Response To: TDs in MC keep up the "good" work (Bob Koca)

"Everyone" was bitching that the consos were being reduced to 7 pts, and when I found out I was agast to put it mildly. I think they were 11 or 13 last year (UBK speak up please) but there were time issues getting done. Howard said that 7 was necessary, but so many were also feeling seriously cheated.

My opp hadn't shown up yet for my rd 1 conso, and I noticed Patti (it is her event) and told her and said that 1st conso really sb 11's, but lets change it to 9 and be done with it. She instantly agreed and it was done. I was unaware that some matches were a couple games in progress.

Please accept my appologies as what I should have asked Patti to say is as follows. "We are changing the match lengths in the conso to 9 points. If your match hasn't started play to 9, if it has started and you both agree you can play to 9 instead of 7, but if either player wishes to keep it a 7 pter, you will then play just this match to 7"

However, it was my upmost concern to get the conso matches lengthened and ASAP and Patti agreed instantly as she also wants to give players more for their money. Once again I was unaware that some matches had played a couple games.

My appologies to anyone who may have been harmed by the match length change.
