Quite a few rolls earlier I had a seemingly difficult 52 to play with my 6 and 4 pts closed and my opp have blots on my 5,3,1 pts. Finally I decided to slide 17/15 and play 6/1x but reaching for my dice I finally realized that there was a blot on my 3 pt !! ie.. 8/3x/1x was then clear. My opp danced with both and trailing in the match I sent over the cube hoping for a G. Soon I had his 3 checkers closed out, but ended up blotting and getting hit from the roof with 53. I then rolled 55 in the diagrammed pos.
My opp danced..and I picked and passed with 52, dreaming of the BG..and he danced again !!! Then with the 41 I knew that I had to think, and also that there's somewhat more gain from a BG here than from turning a G into a simple win. I could see BG chances in the upper 50's (slightly high) and couldn't resist ripping. My opp rolled 61 and then needed a big dub to save BG (he failed).
BG is such a sick game sometimes!!!(I've been on the receiving end of BS like this all week, but this is starting to make up for it)
