Thanks to both you and DC for the explanations. (You made it clear that this is DRAW poker. From reading DC's I was missing that. I.e. DC assumed I knew that draw poker meant draw poker. You assumed I was an idiot, and were right. :)

Just for clarificaiton: this is low hand only, not one of those games where you can go low or high or both? (Are those kind of games played at the serious level or are they just party games?) For example, if A2345 is allowed to be a low hand and a straight, you could presumably be nuts on the low and have a decent chance to win high, right?
