World championships in Vegas

What I would like to see:
(1)World Championships in Vegas right after the WS of poker, so we draw from the poker world too. This seems ideal. (2)$3200 entry fee to attract poker players and high-rollers, but, two days of qualifiers where people can enter brackets of 4, 8, or 16, so everyone ,with any budget, can afford to have a chance each year. (3)Multiple daily, affordable events for non-qualifiers and eliminated players with exciting and changing formats. Speed, sassongammon, doubles, teams, etc. with each winner receiving a plaque stating what they won and '2xxx World Championships'. (4)A full day of free lectures by top players the day before qualifying starts, followed by an exhibition where two top players play a short match and explain their thinking on all interesting moves. You might even have a backgammon school or boot camp where a tuition is charged and lasts a couple of days prior to qualifying. (5)A promoter dedicated and savvy enough to find sponsorship and media coverage. (6)All matches, from final 8 on, recorded and a book published for sale the next year with interesting positions and analysis by top players. (7)Semifinals played consecutively so there can be video for the crowd and webcast, commentary by top players. (8)Same for the finals.
This was quick and off the top of my head, but I think something like this would draw well, have huge prize money, and would be exciting, informative and renew interest.
