So is David from now on going to be referred to here as 'RDR'? :)

Since I first heard this word it has both confused and tickled me. So does it mean "a person who can/should be doubted repeatedly?" Hopefully if I get any answers, at least one will be from GB as I think they use this word more than we Colonists. I believe Barclay Cooke's (supposedly highly regarded) son was nicknamed "the redoubtable Walter Cooke" by the Brits.
