It is usually right to come out in these positions but the blot on the four point is very dangerous in hit, hit back scenarios. This seems like a tough choice between 22-18 8-6 and 8-4 8-6. 8-4 8-6 gives you a stronger board and many strong returns when hit, but not pointed on, on the 22 or 8, but it is harder to escape and subsequent escape by the man on the 22 is hindered by the blot on the 8. 22-18 8-6 is the most volatile but prepares you for escape. If I were playing someone loose with the cube that may double after 22-18, I would make this play. Otherwise, I am not sure, I guess 22-18 8-6 because coming out is usually right.
