Are those records right? If so that is atrociously unfair. Sander got TWO (2) byes across the main and consolation? Whereas, Stick (record not shown) had ZERO byes(?) Only if all three had had an earlier bye, and at least Steen & Sander did, would it be at least equally fair for a player to get a second bye.

However, as Jim Allen said above, BYEs and where they belong (FIRST ROUND) have long established the appropriate time to award them. Only if, as Neil has said in the past, the "late" bye) being awarded are PAID-for by the recipient from their cash prizes -e.g. Sander should have paid the equity of the BYE to each of the two players (Steen and Stick) NOT receiving a bye.

To not have these potential huge equity issues from awarding LATE round byes, just do the draw at the beginning (ROUND ONE) and get done with it. Those byes can also percolate to the "progressive consolation and last chance" brackets in their earliest rounds as well.
