In Response To: What did Stick do to deserve THIS? (Joe Russell)

If you, as the strongest player, competed in a tournament with a complete field of 128 and a genie appeared and said master you can tell me which round you would like a guaranteed win in, before the tournament starts, and I will make sure it happens. I think you would chose a later round, when your competition rates to be tougher, over the first round, no?

Shouldn't a weak player also prefer to get a bye in the later rounds as well? There's a logical fallacy somewhere here...
