definitive solution for dice cheating

You guys are too smart for this comment. (Do I need to explain the fallacy?)
I proposed this idea years ago. DC-Ohio proposed it a couple days ago.
The issue RDR brings up isn't that difficult to overcome either, and I've talked about it before -- namely the device must be sold sealed. Then all you have to do is trust the manufacturer. Not bullet proof, but neither are precision dice. In fact, every computer generated anything (drawsheet, for example) is no more prone to cheating than any manual method. And that's giving a lot of benefit-of-doubt to the naysayers. Such a device would be much less susceptible compared to the current practices many here are defending.
The real problem with computer generated dice is that it takes away from human element of shaking and rolling. There are multiple facets to this. For example:
A) Superstitious/telekinetic (not QUITE the same thing, but probably closely related) individuals perceive a loss of control.
B) For some (many?) there is a soothing or tension-releasing affect from shaking and tossing.
C) There is a general aesthetic value of dice, cups, physical checkers, pretty (and ugly :) boards, etc.
Everyone has a threshold for how far is too far when it comes to changes in mechanics/procedures. As always, there's a tradeoff between risk of getting cheated and loss of aesthetics.
