18/17* for sure (fer me). Now do I hit and acepoint or the deucepoint? My 70's influenced instinct says "2-point", but I've learned the hard way that I can be burned by that so let's think about it.

If opp is going to make (and keep) one of the two points, Blue wins more gammons if it's the acepoint -- argument for 7/2*. It might be nice to keep the barpoint in case things go badly -- argument for 6/1*. Since the 2-point doesn't fit well with the 8-point, you'd prefer to hit on the 2-point with the spare on the 8-point -- argument for 6/1*.

I'm likely missing some arguments, and simply counting pluses and minuses say 6/1*, but the gammon issue seems to overpower other considerations at this score, so...

18/17*, 7/2*.
