Definition of luck-to-skill ratio

I'm not sure exactly what this means. If the Giant had, say 2-1 odds of winning the match, what would be the luck-to-skill ratio? I could say it's 2, since 2/3 or the match winning probability is common to both players while 1/3 is owned by the Giant.

For what it's worth, Cooke and Bradshaw (in "Backgammon The Cruelest Game") estimated that backgammon is 80% luck.
