I don't see where probability and luck are interchangeable terms
Quite simple: you have one good and one bad event. Both have a probability to happen, adding up to 1. Luck is when the good one happens.
Probability can measure the odds of an event that is entirely within human control...
This is not "Probability" notion as used in math.
If a computer beats itself on a given day, was it "unlucky" that the game got steered into a position that it doesn't play well from one side or the other?
If a program plays against itself the skill difference is obviously zero. What else than random influence (i.e. luck) should be envolved.
