Certainly looks like a double. I'm wondering if White has enough wiggle room to take. E.g. suppose White gets three sent back but anchors A) on the 23-point or B) on the 24-point. Are those resulting positions still takes? If so then I think this is probably a Take, otherwise a Pass.

Those resulting positions I mention could make for an interesting study.

One thing we don't often talk about is the skill of the players. A mediocre Blue could screw this up. A World Class Blue -- not likely.
