There seem to be enough other concerns here that slotting the back of the prime could provide additional liability. In fact, I'm not at all sure that the score changes the decision (not that you are saying it does).

So after 21/20 there is still a choice for the deuce. Even though 20/18 gives Blue fewer return shots if hit (compared to staying on the 20-point), there are still two reasons for moving up: White doesn't need his barpoint as bad as his five point, and you save a couple pips of timing keeping your checker on the 11-point. So...
