Since I obviously don't understand the cube sitiation(sic), I'll try and screw up the checkerplay.

Suppose Blue hits two and has a chance at the third (and potentially fourth). Is it obvious s/he should hit immediately? (I don't mean if the alternative is PoH'ing on the homeside or adding a new point to the prime on the homeside. I'm talking about even less constructive choices.) I know, I need to post a sample position. Let me think about it.
