If Blue only won 74% of the games this would likely be a take even if almost all his wins were gammons.

I assume you meant "...if almost all his losses were gammons".

If all of Blue's losses are gammons then obviously he would recube at his first opportunity regardless of how low his game winning chances were. As long as he makes sure to get the cube back to leader at 4 his gammon losses are irrelevant.

This would be an extreme case of low cube ownership equity.
