In Response To: a better way to play w/o clock (Sam Pottle)

The late Larry Strommen had a similar proposal that he used (when allowed and with consent of opponent) at the Indy club. It went like this:

A) one set of dice;

B) one dicecup;

C) At the completion of your roll you put the dice in the cup and handed it to your opponent.

But the main difference from your proposal was:

D) Before handing the cup to your opponent you had the option of shaking the cup.

Larry was strongly of the opinion that many opponents didn't shake sufficiently. So if you shake for them, you no longer are bothered by it.
