My actions would vary only if I thought there was some magic involved. Otherwise, the predictor's statement is irrelevant once the content of the envelope is set, and there is absolutely no reason not to snatch the 1K. In the final analysis, this problem is no more interesting than the medieval question of whether God could restore virginity. Once you assume magical powers, than anything is possible (within the realm of the magic, or faith posited) and speculation not particular interesting.

I think this subject is well past exhausted. I've appreciated your input.
