Most baffle boxes will fit any standard board.

The tube does have flaws and needs to be improved for all the reasons you stated.

I think if you get used to either, it will add to the enjoyment of the game, not detract...but that will always be a matter of personal opinion.

I, and many others, believe that cocked dice, the potential for dice cheating, people who throw dice on the floor or constantly throw too hard, people who shake too much or too little, take away from the enjoyment of the game far more than these remedies.

Again, until you have played a match or two with either, I ask you to reserve judgment and be open-minded and EVEN IF you don't like it as much, maybe you could bring yourself to live with it because you know that it truly does reduce the risk of cheating and will therefore improve attendance and confidence for many others, and because for others, like me, it is more enjoyable to play this way.
