Rich pointed out basically everything that would churn through my head. You're comfortably ahead in the race and have only one checker back as opposed to 3 of your opponent. Even though your opponent's home board is in a temporary state of mess, it will not remain that way for even a shake and expect a fair amount of rolls to hit your remaining checker next turn and make another inner board point for your opponent.
If this is the case, you certainly don't want other blots hanging around that you'll need to clean up or they may too be hit wasting your race lead and having equally the number of men you and your opponent have back. A deceiving part of the position is that your opponent is ready to attack now. He has 12 men in the zone, an anchor, is behind in the race ... he has one plan, know he will go to lengths to carry out this plan because otherwise he's sitting on his hands waiting to get cubed in and ultimately lose a race.
Hitting 6/2* is not an option for me either. You waste your last spare on an attack(?) that has no prayer of working since he's comfortably sitting on your 20pt. You would have only direct 6s to cover which would then forfeit your 8pt which is an important landing point in this position. All rambling aside and could give a shit what the bot rollout thinks (unless of course it agrees with me as it should) 13/12 13/10 is also my clear play.
