Yes, no matter what you do, there will always be people who find a new way to cheat. But making it more difficult, as the casinos have done, helps. And baffle boxes are not just about stopping cheaters...it's about several other advantages listed in several previous posts.

Dice can still be switched, but if you use a clock and a single set of dice with the baffle box, it makes that much more difficult to do without detection, as you are picking up the dice your opponent just used.
