You won't believe this one.

I have fished in the same small lake for over 20 years. A few years ago, after I had just lost a lot of weight, I went fishing. I caught a big one, and as I was trying to untangle it from the net my wedding ring fell off. The fish got away and I lost my ring.

Four years later I was fishing in that same lake. I caught a big fish. I took it home and cleaned it, and as I was cutting into it, my knife struck something hard.

It was my thumb.
