I agree. I always thought that two players could not agree to change the length of the match. It's not fair to the rest who play 13 point matches if two players play a 1 point match. What if they decided to play without the Crawford Rule? What if they agreed to have someone count pips for them so they won't have to do it? What if they agreed to put more time on the clock?

We all expect, when we enter the tournament, that there will be a level playing field, and this means that everyone must follow the rules of the game, and anything that the players agree to do must be approved by the tournament director (such as taping, use of baffle box or clock, playing on a computer, or anything at all out of the ordinary).
